Area Travel Agent Soars High 4/2/08-- Miami, FL-- Dianne Hornyak, a Honeymoon and Wedding specialist at Travel Connections has been awarded the Lifetime Platinum Member certification from Sandals and Beaches Resorts. Dianne offers specialized training and expertise in the Luxury All-Inclusive Resort chain with properties in the Caribbean. Mrs. Hornyak is a part-owner and the lead wedding specialist at Travel Connections. "I'm very excited to receive the award, it's a nice reward for all the effort and late nights over the years," says Hornyak. Dianne has been a Certified Sandals Specialist, and earned title for over 8 years, and has reached the pinnacle of her industry. Toledo Area Honeymoon Specialist Hits it Big 12/1/07-- St. Lucia-- Travel Connections from Oregon, has won it's 6 straight "Best of the Best" award from Sandals and Beaches Resorts. The award goes to the top 100 agencies in the U.S. and Canada out of 23,000 agencies that sell vacation travel to the All-Inclusive Resort chain in the Caribbean. "Travel Connections has become a regular fixture at our awards," says Butch Stewart, Chairman of Unique Vacations, the parent company of Sandals and Beaches Resorts. "We knew quite early that Travel Connections was something special," he continues. Agency owner and General Manager, Steve Hornyak says their success is a simple formula. "We try and treat all our clients as we would our own family members... and sometimes that means a little extra effort," says Hornyak. "There's no typical day at the office for us... we're here sometimes meeting clients at 10pm if that's what they need", he says. Travel Connections specializes in Destination Weddings and honeymoons as well as romantic getaways. The agency says over 1/2 of its overall business is from honeymoons and weddings.
