Passport Information

Passports are required for travel via air to all areas of the Caribbean, Mexico, Canada and all international destinations. ALL U.S. citizens are required to have a valid passport for any travel outside the United States.  That includes all modes of transportation including car.

Passport Processing Times Have Increased Due to High Volume. File early.  We recommend applying at least 4 months prior to your trip.

Passport application forms are available thru the links below or through the US Post Office at each branch.  The current fee is $97 (not including pictures).  Typical processing time is 6-10 weeks, and can be longer depending on volume.

A passport is an internationally recognized travel document that verifies the identity and nationality of the bearer. A valid U.S. passport is required to enter and leave most foreign countries. Only the U.S. Department of State has the authority to grant, issue or verify United States passports.
